Your property moves to the Starter plan (Rs 8,000 a year, up to 15 rooms). Features that belong to Growth, such as guest pages, online check-in and room service, switch off until the property is on Growth. If you have more than 15 rooms, the ones you have stay, but you cannot add more until you are on Growth. See what each plan includes.
No. Yatraax runs in the web browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and guests use a web page, not an app.
The one exception is printing bills, kitchen tickets and bar tickets. That needs a small free helper program (QZ Tray) on the front-desk computer. The printer guide has the steps.
Yatraax needs an internet connection and has no offline mode. While the connection is down you cannot open bookings or take payments in the app, so keep a paper fallback at the front desk. A phone on mobile data is a quick backup connection.
Everything entered before the connection dropped is saved, and what you wrote on paper can be entered afterwards.
There is no file import for bookings yet. You enter upcoming bookings in the app, and stays that are already finished do not need to be moved.
If you have a lot of future bookings, enter them during the 14-day trial while you keep using your notebook. Creating a booking takes a few fields.
Each person only sees the screens their role needs, and every task has a short Help guide with screenshots. Housekeeping and the kitchen mostly tick jobs off on their phones.
Reception and whoever closes the register should try it on a few test bookings during the trial, with the guides open. The trial runs on your own property, so you practise on real rooms.
Yes. The staff app, the guest page and online check-in all work in a phone browser, with screens laid out for a small screen. You can take a booking, close the register and tick off tasks from a phone.
Printing needs a computer, because a phone cannot run the print helper.
If it is a receipt printer on your network (by cable or Wi-Fi) that prints 58 mm or 80 mm paper and accepts standard ESC/POS commands on port 9100, it should. You add it by its IP address. USB-only printers, and printing straight from a phone, are not supported.
So far it has been tested on one network receipt printer, not every make, so print a test slip during your trial. See Set up printers.
No. Guests open a web address you send them and find their booking with their name and arrival date. They download nothing and create no account. See how guest pages work.
Not for walk-in restaurant sales. Room-service orders are handled in Yatraax and go on the room bill. For the restaurant, you type or import (CSV) each outlet's daily total, and it flows into the closing register with everything else.
